Peace Now activists in Israel have gone to the street to remind Israelis that settlements are a burden to Israelis. They have been handing out yellow Post-It notes that say "Not just Obama's problem. Not just the world's problem. The settlements are our problem."

This week -- taking an idea from a New York improv group -- Peace Now activists combined the Post-It note campaign with a not-so-subtle hint that it's time for a settlement freeze.

The activists stopped mid-stride at popular spots in Tel Aviv, drawing the attention of passerbys, who read the Post-It notes that were on the bodies of our activists. Check it out:

The Post-It campaign remind Israelis that it is they who must guard the outposts and that it is they who subsidize settlements to the tune of 2.5 billion shekels a year.

Check out the video below for a short slide-show presentation of some of the facts the Peace Now campaign highlights:

Let me know if you have more suggestions for our colleagues in the Israeli Peace Now movement.

The new website is absolutely wonderful? Sharp, concise, beautifully laid out and full of substance in every corner. Keep on!

Very happy to see that there are Israelis who don't support the settlements

The website is great - beautifully designed and full of information and easily available. I also think the organization is terrific, along with its sister group APN. Keep up the good work.
I too was aghast at the ADL ad in the Times yesterday.
