Israel has accepted the West Bank as an occupied Arab Christian Muslim state that it controls with the Golan Heights and Gaza strip. It is a big move forward for that country.

The 'Briefing Book' is a good aid for APN to use in
its effort to inform readers of its positions on the IL/Pal Peace prospects...I disagree only with
the insistance upon 'negotiations' as the only way to proceed: It will be a cold day in Hell before the present crop of Israeli Government types really participate in worthy talks. Palestine shud cut its losses by declaring independence and obtaining UN and other-nations' assistance to deal with its severe social and ecenomic needs. Much needs to be done and arguing with Israel will do little to resolve their issues...If Palestine can recover and thrive, peace with Israel will be achieved in a more natural and permanent manner...Aaron Allen...
