President Barack Obama is set to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday. This is part of a series of meetings with Mideast leaders, including Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
The meeting with Netanyahu is vital. Currently, President Obama is boldly pursuing a negotiated two-state
solution for Israel and Palestine. This solution, Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza, and renewing
peace talks will all be discussed at his meeting with Netanyahu.
We need you to send a message of support to President Obama. We need you tell him to stick to his guns, to
push Israel, the Palestinians, and the Arab governments to adhere to their commitments. Israel must stop settlement
construction, uproot illegal outposts in the West Bank, and allow greater access and mobility for Palestinians. The
Palestinians must act to fight terrorism and incitement and to bridge the gap between Hamas and Fatah, between Gaza
and the West Bank. Arab governments must demonstrate their commitment to peace as well.
