Washington, D.C.-Americans for Peace Now (APN) condemned today's suicide bombing attack in Netanya, Israel that killed at least five people and wounded over 50 others. Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for the attack. APN is a Jewish, Zionist organization dedicated to enhancing Israel's security through peace and to supporting the Israeli Peace Now movement.

"APN condemns the suicide bombing attack that destroyed so many lives today in Israel," said Debra DeLee, President and CEO of Americans for Peace Now. "There is no excuse that can justify such abhorrent action. Our prayers go out to the families of those who lost their lives, and we extend our wishes for a speedy recovery to those who were injured."
